Teacher Workshops at The International Fishing Hall of Fame IGFA offers FREE teacher workshops to introduce teachers & environmental educators to the fresh and salt water ecosystems in Southeast Florida. Workshops give teachers hands-on knowledge of activities they can do back in their classroom. These workshops also give teachers the opportunity to learn what programs IGFA and The Science Eye have to offer them in forms of educational lab programs, ativities and field trips. Once a teacher has completed a workshop, they become IGFA Certified and will receive discounted prices for their student's admissions and programs at IGFA. For a .pdf printable copy of a workshop flyer, please click on the workshop you are interested in.
Learn about Southeastern Florida's
wetland and coastal habitats through hands-on activities. Educational
materials will be provided for all teachers that attend. In order
to conduct these workshops, we must have a minimum of 20 and a maximum

Field study workshops are free; however, entrance fees may apply at certain facilities and you will need to provide your own lunch and transportation. In order to conduct these workshops, we must have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 teachers.
